To cover your limited visiting time in Bali, I have designed a great overnight tour to explore Bali's famous tourist sites and spectacular countryside panorama, best snorkeling spots, great temples and learning the lifestyle of the local. Itineraries are very flexible and subject to change as sometimes we might spend sometime in a village to witness a ceremony or temple procession. This is Bali where unexpected events could be encountered in the villages.
Starting our first day by visiting the Ubud village as
our first night staying. We are going to visit the
Ubud local villages to enjoy its natural beauty as
well as gaining some understanding on how the Balinese
people lead their daily lives. Here we are going to
visit UBUD MONKEY FORREST, a chance to feed the monkey
at their home. If you are interesting we can add our
program to visit the art villages close by such as
CELUK for its gold and silver work, BATUBULAN for its
famous stone sculptors, MAS well known as the central
for the wood carving and furniture and UBUD itself for
the home of the well known painters. Continuing our
day tour we visit GUNUNG KAWI temple the 11th-century
hermitage-imperial monument complex of AIRLANGGA
dynasty. KINTAMANI to enjoying its spectacular
panorama over looking the active volcano of mount
BATUR. In the afternoon we are going to visit the
PETULU village near Ubud to see thousands of WHITE
HERON BIRD. Seeing the Balinese dance will be the
highlight of our day. Overnight and dinner: UBUD.
Day 2: Ubud/Amed
After breakfast start the day east by visiting the
ELEPHANT CAVE the 11th century Buddhist hermitage and
monasteries. We drive on through the scenic villages
of TEMBUKU enjoying its spectacular panorama
overlooking the ocean, then we on to the slope of
mount Agung to visit the mother temple of BESAKIH.
Continuing our trip to AMED BEACH we are going to pass
the beautiful villages of SELAT for its beautiful rice
terrace view, PUTUNG a breathtaking panorama over
looking the ocean, SIBETAN well known for its
SALAK/SNAKE FRUIT cultivation, TIRTAGANGGA the water
garden folly built by the last king of Karangasem "
Gusti Jelantik " in the 19th century-often referred to
as the Paris of Bali. Overnight and dinner: AMED.
Day 3: Amed/Lovina
Morning spends on the beach for snorkeling to enjoying
the underwater world of Bali with its wonderful coral
and fish. Spectacular drive along the coast lead us to
the northern coast of Bali LOVINA a less touristy
beach in Bali. Enroute we are going to make a stop at
TULAMBEN beach for another chance of snorkeling or
scuba diving to see the wreck ship of the USS Liberty
ship that sunk during the world war II.And then continuing
by visiting Pura Ponjok Batu founded in 16th century
by Javanese Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha, Air Saneh
natural swimming pool, Pura Meduwe Karang for the Lord
Possessing the ground, Pura Dalem Jagaraga an elaborate
old temple of the dead, Pura Beji Sangsit a beautifully
carved Subak temple.Check in for hotel at Lovina. Afternoon,
visiting Banjar Hot spring and Buddhist Monastry.
Overnight and dinner: Lovina.
Day 4: Lovina/Bedugul
Early morning going for a sunrise cruise in search for
the dolphin. Breakfast and relaxing on the beach or
another snorkeling. In the afternoon we are going to
drive on to the central mountain through the scenic
village of MUNDUK with its coffee and clove
plantation. We are having a short exercise down to the
mighty waterfall passing through the coffee and clove
Forrest. A great chance for you to try the natural
massage under the waterfall or even just for a short
swim. Driving up through the scenic mountain village's
lead us to a spot for bird eye view overlooking the
two beautiful lakes of TAMBLINGAN AND BUYAN. A visit
to the wonderful lake temple of ULUN DANU BERATAN a
temple in the middle of the lake dedicated for the
goddess of the prosperity or the lake, which is being
worship by the local rice farmers. CANDIKUNING
traditional fruit, vegetables, spices and flowers
market. Overnight and dinner: BEDUGUL.
Day 5: Bedugul/next Bali destination
After breakfast a visit to the BALI BOTANICAL GARDEN
will start our last day tour. Afterward a scenic drive
down the hill will lead us to the village of
JATILUWIH, which is known for its truly marvelous rice
terrace view. BATUKARU temple an old sacred site in
the middle of Bali rain forest. TANAH LOT a 16th
century temple in the middle of the ocean for enjoying
its wonderful sunset. Transfer to your next
destination, END OF TRIP.
Overnight arrangements for the hotels are made by the customer himself. I will
only give choices and information on the hotels. If you want me to
arrange it for you I would ask you a deposit as the hotels will
ask deposit on any reservation made.
